Drop a phone the wrong way and the screen cracks. Leave it in a pocket during a rainstorm and it stops charging. Run it down too hard for too long and the battery just doesn’t bounce back. These things happen constantly, and most of them are fixable.
Gadget Ali has two repair locations in the Vancouver area: one in North Vancouver at 935 Marine Dr, one in Richmond at 6551 No. 3 Rd. Walk-ins welcome at both. We look at the phone first, explain what we find, give you a price, and we don’t start until you say go.

The most common repair we do. Shattered glass, black screens, display lines, flickering, and unresponsive touch, we check the display and digitizer separately before recommending the right fix. Bring it in and we’ll tell you exactly what needs replacing and what it’ll cost before we touch anything.
If your phone barely gets through half a day, shuts off at 20%, gets warm during normal use, or only works when plugged in, the battery is likely the problem. We test it first. If replacement is the answer, most popular iPhone and Samsung models are straightforward. Bring it in the morning, pick it up the same day in most cases.
Liquid damage gets worse the longer you wait, corrosion builds up inside even after the phone dries out. If your phone got wet, bring it in as soon as possible. We’ll open it up, tell you what’s going on, and be straight with you about whether repair is practical or not. We won’t charge for work that won’t hold.
Before assuming the port is broken, we check whether it’s debris packed into the connector (surprisingly common). If the port itself is damaged, loose, or corroded, we repair or replace it. Either way, you get a clear answer fast.
Blurry photos, a shaky rear camera, a black screen when the camera opens, or a front camera that just won’t focus, these usually come down to a damaged lens or failing module. We diagnose before quoting.
Can’t hear the other person clearly? They can’t hear you? We test the speaker, earpiece, and microphone individually to find the actual source of the problem, not the most obvious one.
Power buttons, volume rockers, and mute switches wear out over time. If something feels stuck, spongy, or simply stops responding, we can usually replace the affected part.
Constant crashes, random restarts, a phone that runs slowly after an update, not every problem needs a hardware fix. We check whether it’s a software issue first, before recommending any physical repair.
We work on most major smartphone brands. Follow the links below for repair details on specific models.
All models from SE through iPhone 16 Pro Max. Screen, battery, charging, camera, water damage, and more.
Galaxy S24, S23, S22, A54, A34, and older series. Screens, batteries, and charging ports are the most common.
Screen damage, battery wear, charging faults, and common hardware issues.

Here’s how a typical visit works, no surprises.
You walk in. No appointment needed. Bring your phone, tell us what’s going on.
We inspect it. We check what’s actually wrong, not just the symptom. This usually takes a few minutes.
We give you a price. You get a clear cost estimate before anything is touched.
You decide. We don’t start without your approval.
We repair and test. After the repair, we check that everything works before handing it back.
You leave with a working phone. Most common repairs are done within a few hours.
Choosing the right phone repair shop is not just about fixing the immediate issue. It is about getting the right diagnosis, clear pricing, reliable workmanship, and service you can trust.
At Gadget Ali, our repair process is built around clear communication and practical recommendations. We inspect the device first, explain the issue, and provide an estimate before repair work begins.
