Crashed into a tree, gimbal stuck at an angle, or a drone that will not power on? Bring it to Gadget Ali. We inspect it, tell you what it will cost, and only start work once you approve the quote.
Our technicians handle camera and gimbal work, motor and arm replacement, battery and power faults, and calibration problems on both hobby and commercial drones. Every repair ends with a calibration check and bench test before you pick it up.

A damaged or malfunctioning drone can interrupt personal projects, commercial work, or recreational flying. At Gadget Ali, we provide professional drone diagnostics and repair services designed to restore flight performance without unnecessary delays.
Whether your drone has crash damage, camera issues, battery faults, or flight instability, our technicians identify the problem and provide clear repair options before any work begins. We service drones used for photography, inspection, and recreational purposes with efficient turnaround times for most common repairs.

Shaky footage, a tilted horizon, a gimbal that will not level, or a camera that shows nothing at all. We check the ribbon cable, gimbal motors and mount first, because a full module swap is not always necessary. Recalibration is included with every gimbal repair.
A cracked arm, a motor that stutters on takeoff, or a drone that pulls to one side after a crash. We replace the damaged arm or motor, resolder the connections, and rebalance the aircraft so it holds a steady hover again.
Batteries that drain in minutes, refuse to charge, or cut power mid-flight. We test cell health and the charging circuit before recommending a replacement, and we will tell you directly if a battery is swollen and no longer safe to fly.
Drifting, unstable hovering, compass errors, or a controller that keeps losing the link. We run diagnostics on the flight controller and sensors, correct the calibration, and check firmware compatibility before returning the drone.
Every drone is different, so the final price depends on your model and what the inspection finds. These are the ranges we quote most often:
Diagnostics are free at both locations. You get the full price before we start, and if the repair is not worth it compared to what your drone is currently worth, we will say so. Request a free estimate and we will give you a realistic figure for your model.
1. Drop it off
Bring your drone, the battery and the controller to our Richmond or North Vancouver store. No appointment needed during business hours.
2. Free diagnosis
We inspect for visible damage and run a full system check, including hidden frame stress and internal board issues that are easy to miss after a crash.
3. Approve the quote
You get a fixed price and a time estimate. Nothing gets opened or ordered until you approve it.
4. Repair and test
We complete the repair, recalibrate the sensors, and test the drone before you collect it. Most common repairs are done within 1 to 3 business days.

We work on consumer, camera, FPV and commercial drones, from a DJI Mini that took a hard landing to a survey drone a business depends on every week.
Models we see regularly include the DJI Mini, Air, Mavic and FPV series, DJI Avata, Autel EVO and EVO Nano, Parrot, Yuneec, and custom FPV builds. On FPV rigs we also handle ESC replacement, antenna and camera fixes, and wiring repairs.
If your model is not listed, send us the model name and a short description of the fault and we will confirm whether we can help. You can also see all repair services we offer across Metro Vancouver.

A few small things make the diagnosis faster and the repair cheaper:
It depends on the model and the damage. Simple work such as propeller or landing gear replacement starts around $40, motor and arm replacement starts around $90, and camera or gimbal repairs usually start around $150. Diagnostics are free, and you always get the exact price before we start.
Most common repairs are completed within 1 to 3 business days. Simple fixes such as a propeller arm or landing gear can sometimes be done the same day if we have the part in stock. Gimbal work, board-level repairs and water damage take longer because they need proper testing before the drone goes back in the air.
If the damage is limited to arms, motors, batteries or a gimbal, repair is usually the cheaper option by a wide margin. Once a repair approaches the current market value of the drone, replacing it makes more sense. We compare both for you at the estimate stage and tell you which one we would choose.
DJI, Autel, Parrot, Yuneec and most other consumer and prosumer brands, plus custom FPV builds. If you are unsure about your model, contact us with the model name and a short description of the problem.
Yes. Our drone repairs are covered by a limited warranty on the parts we install and the labour we perform. The warranty does not cover new crashes, new impact damage or water exposure after the repair. We go over the exact terms when you collect your drone.
