Sony stopped selling Xperia phones in Canada some years ago. The Xperia 1 V was the last flagship officially offered here. Everything since, including the Xperia 1 VI, the 1 VII and the 1 VIII, has skipped North America entirely, and Sony no longer lists smartphones on its North American site at all.
That matters for repair in one specific way. If your Xperia was bought here before 2023, parts are generally available and the repair is routine. If it was imported, the phone is a grey market device with no Canadian warranty support, and replacement parts have to be sourced individually rather than pulled off a shelf.
We will still look at it. What we will not do is quote you a price before we know we can get the part, because on an imported Xperia that is not a safe assumption. Send us the exact model and we will find out before you make the trip.

Because the part is the variable, not the labour. On phones sold in Canada we know what a screen costs. On an imported Xperia we have to check availability first, and quoting before that would mean giving you a number we might not be able to hold.
For the repair itself, no. For parts and warranty, yes. Imported devices have no Canadian warranty support and replacement parts are ordered rather than stocked, so expect a longer lead time than on a Samsung or Pixel of the same age.
