Your iPhone screen cracks on the way to work. The battery dies before noon. The charging port stops holding a cable. These problems happen to every iPhone eventually, and most of them are a lot cheaper and faster to fix than people expect.
Gadget Ali repairs iPhones at two Metro Vancouver locations: 935 Marine Dr in North Vancouver, and 6551 No. 3 Rd in Richmond. Walk-ins are welcome at both. We look at the device first, tell you what we find, and give you a price before anything gets started. For other phone brands, see our cell phone repair page.

Cracked glass, shattered display, black screen, touch that doesn’t register, or lines running down the screen. We check both the glass and the display panel before recommending a fix.
Some phones only need the top glass replaced. Others need the full display assembly. We’ll tell you which, and why, before we start.
If your iPhone makes it to mid-morning on a full charge, shuts off at 20%, or runs warm during basic use, the battery is almost certainly the problem. We test battery health first.
If it’s past the point of reasonable performance, replacement is usually the right call. Most popular iPhone models are done within the hour.
Before assuming the port is broken, we check whether debris is packed into the Lightning or USB-C connector. It happens more often than you’d think, and cleaning it out takes about two minutes. If the port itself is damaged or corroded, we repair or replace it. Either way, you get a clear answer quickly.
Liquid damage gets worse the longer you wait. Even if the phone seems fine right after getting wet, corrosion builds up inside over the following days.
Bring it in as soon as possible. We open it up, assess the actual condition, and tell you honestly whether repair is worth pursuing. We don’t start work we don’t think will hold.
Blurry photos, a black screen when you open the camera, the rear camera working but the front not, or a lens that’s clearly cracked. These usually point to a module or lens issue. We check what’s actually failing before recommending the fix.
Muffled calls, no sound from the speaker, or the other person constantly saying they can’t hear you. We test the speaker, earpiece, and microphone separately to find which one is actually causing the problem.
Power buttons, volume buttons, and the mute switch wear out with age. If a button feels stuck or stops responding entirely, we can usually replace the affected part on most models.
iPhone 8 through 17 models have glass backs that shatter on drops. We replace the back glass on most of these models. Call ahead to confirm availability for your specific model.

Apple repairs are fine, but they come with trade-offs. Apple typically requires an appointment, the turnaround is often several days, and the price for something like a screen replacement is usually higher than what we charge. They also won’t touch phones with prior third-party repairs in many cases.
We don’t have those restrictions. We work on iPhones regardless of repair history, we give you a price before starting, and we don’t require an appointment. Walk in, we’ll look at it right away.
Walk in, no appointment needed. Bring the iPhone and describe what’s happening.
We inspect it first. We check what’s actually wrong, not just the symptom you described. This usually takes a few minutes.
You get a clear price. No work begins until you’ve agreed to the cost.
We repair and test. After the fix, we check that everything works before handing it back.
30-day warranty on eligible repairs. If the repair fails on our end, we’ll sort it out at no charge.
Screen replacements typically run $79 to $219. Battery replacements $59 to $89. Charging ports $49 to $79. We confirm the exact price after inspecting the device. See our iPhone repair cost guide for a full breakdown.

It depends on the model, repair cost, device condition, and the type of issue. After inspection, we can help you compare the repair option with the cost of replacing the device.
Eligible repairs include warranty coverage. Warranty details depend on the repair type and parts used, and we explain this before the repair is completed.
